Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is Mexican musician who was born into a family of musicians. While growing up, she listened to many classical music, as well old boleros. They also played traditional ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. She was taught by her mother to sing, however she started singing with Flavio Belcerra at 16 when the singer was famous as a Mexican opera tenor. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. In Guadalajara along with Mexico City, she was part of numerous opera chamber and choruses. She was part of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to the south of California. The singer currently sings classical Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. She is involved with many local organizations, both as an educator and performer due to her passion for art and music. Ana has also been a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a privilege to give others a taste of her enthusiasm for the traditional Latin American music. She is hoping that it will encourage younger generations to keep this traditional music going.
