Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit, an Indian actor who has been known for her roles in Hum Aapke Hing Koun (Beta Saajan) and Beta Saajan is among the most popular Indian actors. The actress began her career in the late 1980s, and rose into prominence thanks to her character in the Tezaab film, in which she appeared alongside an established actor Anil Kapoor. In her next film Dil, Aamir Khan appeared alongside her. Early on, as a girl growing up in Mumbai's middle-class, she began to learn how to dance. In her early years, when she first started to act as a child actor, the majority of films she produced were not successful. Eventually, she found success with Indian film and climbed to the very top. Her marriage led to a hiatus in her professional career. Later, she returned. Recently, she had an important role in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the struggle of women living in India. Dixit received fifteen Filmfare Awards nominations, of which eight she won. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize in India is bestowed to her. In addition, she is recognized for her charity work.
